Short post to talk about how to install non Latin font in Arch Linux with:

sudo pacman -S noto-fonts-cjk

this package provides all fonts needed to show non Latin characters like Chinese or Japanese.

Emojis

Also to show emojis you will need a different font, some options could be:

• noto-fonts-emoji
• ttf-joypixels

In my case I like joypixels emojis, so I installed them with sudo pacman -S ttf-joypixels
